Coat Drive for EKY

Our schools are excited to join other districts and KASA in providing new winter coats, hoodies, gloves, and hats for our school families impacted by the devastating floods in Eastern Kentucky. The road to recovery is long, but the immediate and dire needs continue to evolve.

This coat drive addresses immediate needs while ensuring existing resources be directed to food, shelter, and the upcoming holidays.

We are seeking 🆕 coats for preschool/elementary students and staff members, hoodies for middle/high school students, and gloves and hats for everyone.

Drop-off locations:

  • Camargo
  • Mapleton
  • MSE
  • Northview
  • McNabb
  • MCHS
  • Sterling School
  • Central Office

Donations will be accepted through Friday, December 16.

MoCo Staff Make a Difference!

Have you encountered a staff member from Montgomery County Schools who has made a difference for your child or family? Maybe you have seen a teacher go above and beyond, noticed a bus driver who starts the day off right for your child every day, observed an assistant who provides extra support for your child, or spotted any of our 700 MoCo staff members making a difference.

Please help us recognize them for the great work they do on a daily basis for our students, families, and community. Nominate a staff member to let them know that they make a difference!
