Early Reading Intervention
The Early Reading Intervention Program has 125 lessons. Skills progress from learning letter names and sounds to reading 10 high frequency and decodable words in books midway through the program.
Students meet daily in small groups (4-6 students) for 25-30 minutes to:
- Identify letter names
- Practice saying letter sounds
- Isolate letter sounds in words
- Use letter sounds to decode words

Parent Involvement: Help practice the letters and sounds for the student's daily papers. Read at least 15 minutes daily iwth your child. Let your child see the pictures and words you read.
