Chromebook 1:1 Initiative

Chromebooks and Digital Information
Montgomery County Schools are getting ready for the deployment of Chromebooks for grades 5-12. We are so excited to provide this instructional tool for students and teachers. The deployment will occur during the second semester of this school year. To prepare for that deployment the district would like to provide parents with information. We have listed links below to provide good information not only for having a Chromebook at home, but for any digital device.

Growing Wireless

About: Today’s kids are using wireless at early ages to do everything from keeping connected with family and friends to using applications for education and safety to entertainment. While most kids instantly feel comfortable using wireless, some parents may need an online resource to help stay in tune and up-to-date on the latest mobile products and services their kids’ may use.

In an effort to continue to provide parents the tools and information they need to help educate themselves and their kids to use wireless technology responsibly, CTIA-The Wireless Association® and The Wireless Foundation created “Growing Wireless.”
