March Students of the Month

Hunter - 8th Grade - March Student of the Month

Hunter has displayed the greatest improvement in attendance of any of our students in the past few months. He now has good attendance. He is respectful and works hard. Hunter stands out as a student this month who has displayed integrity and honesty - doing the right thing even when he thinks no one is watching and also holding his peers to a high standard. Hunter truly demonstrated this month what it means to buy into the Sterling School program and to begin to thrive academically, behaviorally and personally. We are proud of you, Hunter!

Caylon - 8th Grade - March Student of the Month

Caylon has come a long way over the course of this school year. He has made strides academically and his hard work has paid off, evidenced by the fact that he just finished his final 8th grade class and can now officially move on to the 9th grade. He has also displayed humility by working on improving his attitude and being more respectful of his teachers as the year has progressed. Keep up the good work, Caylon!

February Student of the Month

Josh has been an incredibly hard-working student all school year, but put in extra effort in February toward earning his Humanities and World Civilizations credits. We are proud of him for taking responsibility for his education and persevering when an assignment proves to be a challenge. He is respectful and honest during class with both teachers and his peers, and carries himself with humility. He is a great example to other students and we are very proud of him!

January Students of the Month

Zackary, 11th Grade, January 2019 Student of the Month

Zack has had a real turnaround, and his efforts have been recognized by his peers and teachers alike. He has established new resolve and determination that he will graduate this year.  Zack has worked diligently to recover credits and has been successful because of his determination.  His respectful demeanor, good manners, work ethic, attitude, participation and vast improvement in all areas are some of the main reasons Zack was chosen to represent Sterling School for January. We are expecting to see more awesome things out of Zack!

Cameron, 8th Grade, January Student of the Month

We are so proud of Cameron for his hard work and academic success, showing great improvement in all of his grades. He also has good attendance.  Cameron has demonstrated excellent personal growth and development as well, especially with his interpersonal communication skills. Cameron is pleasant, full of joy and helpful to his peers and teachers.
