My name is Christie Redmond Jouett and I am the Family Resource Director at Northview Elementary School. This is my 31st year with Montgomery County Schools. Prior to assuming this position, I served as director of Montgomery County Intermediate School YSC for 5 years, Camargo FRC for 20 years and before that I taught Adult Education. I have a B.S. in Child Development and Family Relations from Kentucky State University and a Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Kentucky. My husband, Vance and I are the parents of three daughters, Adia, Allison and Alyssa, all majoring in Education at Morehead State University, a a son, Anthony, a Junior at MCHS who plays on the soccer team. Our family lives in Mt. Sterling with our wild and crazy dog, Max and our new kitten, Marley. We have three special little girls, R'riana, J'Kyiah and Legaci who spend most weekends with us. In my free time I like to read, spend time with my family, do crafts, work with the youth at my church and volunteer for the American Cancer Society.
I am super excited about getting too know each of you and equally excited about working with your children. The FRC will be open daily from 8:30 A.M.. to 4:30 P.M.. and other times by appointment. Entrance to the FRC can be made by entering in the rear of the building. All services provided by the FRC are confidential.
