I am Sarah Richardson Crain. I am the Speech-Language Pathologist for Mapleton Elementary & Montgomery County High School.
I graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a B.S. in Communication Disorders. I received my M.A. in Communication Disorders from Northeast Louisiana. I later received my Rank 1 from Eastern Kentucky University. I earned my Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association.
I began my speech-language career at Montgomery County in 1998. With the exception of two years, I have been in this district since that time. I take great pride in working in the same district that I was fortunate enough to attend and graduate from in 1989.
I am looking forward to working with the students of Mapleton Elementary & Montgomery County High School. Throughout the school year, I will send home "Speech Notes" with ideas for you to try at home to help improve your child's speech and language skills. It takes all of us working together to improve communication skills.
If you should ever have questions regarding speech services, please call or send a note with your child.
