Please welcome Mr. Dustin "Luke" Toy as Mapleton's new Assistant Principal! Mr. Luke Toy comes to us from Robert D. Campbell Jr High School in Clark County, where he's taught a variety of curriculums across 7th and 8th grades. To some he might be a familiar face. He is the very proud dad to one of our own, Jack Toy! Mr. Toy is a graduate of Montgomery County High School, and still resides here with his wife Ashleigh. He has a B.S. in Construction Management from Eastern Kentucky University, an M.S. in Christian Ministries emphasis in counseling from Liberty University, an MAT in Science from the University of the Cumberlands and is completing his Education Administration certification at Campbellsville University. Below is a message from Mr. Toy, "As a former student of Mapleton Elementary I cannot express how excited I am to have been selected to serve such an awesome staff and community. I vividly remember my years at Mapleton as a student and how full of excitement and joy the students and staff here were. I remember those as some of the best years of my education and I will be dedicated to ensuring that our students and staff have that same experience in a place where they are able to learn and grow in all areas of life. I am sincerely grateful for the opportunity to be able to work with and serve such an accomplished staff. I look forward to the coming year and all the opportunities it will give us to do great things for kids!"
