My name is Tammy Rutherford and this is my fifth year teaching preschool in Montgomery County and it is my third year at Mount Sterling Elementary. I taught three years inside a blended KERA Preschool / Head Start Classroom in a different school district and I also taught first grade in a different school district.
I completed my BA in History at Morehead State University and later returned to MSU to complete a BA in Kindergarten – 5th Elementary Education. I also hold a Masters of Teaching / IECE Birth to Five from MSU and a Masters degree (ED.S.) in Supervisor of Instruction from the University of the Cumberlands.
I like spending time with my two sons; Jackson and Parker who are both students at Montgomery County High School.
Thank you so much for allowing me to spend this time with your child. I believe that preschool is a very important foundation that future school success is built upon.
