  • Camargo Academic Team

    Camargo Academic Team

    Congratulations to our Camargo Academic Team!  They are the 2013-14 Montgomery County Academic Champitons!!!  The future problem solving team placed first in competition and the quick recall team finished second.  We are so proud of these outstanding students.  

  • Camp SMILE

    Camp SMILE (Sharing Memories in a Loving Environment) is provided for children ages 7-17 who have suffered the loss of a loved one.  It is a free community service offered by St. Claire Regional Hospice, Pallative Care, and the Morehead State University Department of Nursing.  The camp is May 30 - June 1st.  Click here for more details.


  • April is Child Abuse Prevention Month

  • Mt. Sterling Elementary Wins Blood Drive Competition

    Congratulations to Mt. Sterling Elementary School for claiming the trophy in the Kentucky Blood Center's 8th Annual Montgomery County Elementary Blood Drive Competition. Mt. Sterling Elementary had 35 donors, which translates to 105 lives saved. Mapleton Elementary had 28 donors and Camargo Elementary had 26. Total donations provided for 267 lives saved.

  • Camargo STLP Community Library Project

    Camargo STLP would like to reach out to the community and request that you watch a commercial produced by students about our public library branch in Camargo.  We feel it is important for family members to be involved in reading outside of school.  We have created this commercial after receiving surveys from parents stating that many haven’t visited our public library branch.  We encourage you to watch our commercial and visit the library.  All you need is a library card.  Come check it out!!!
