  • Last Day of School Set

THE CALENDAR!!  Please be advised that on April 15th the Board of Education approved a plan establishing the last day for students this year and a waiver request was submitted to the Kentucky Department of Education on April 16th.  Pending approval of the waiver request for 1.96 hours of make-up time (to reach the required 1,062-hour minimum), the last day for students will be Friday, June 6th.  Additionally, school WILL BE IN SESSION on Election Day, May 20th, AND Memorial Day, May 26th.  The district recognizes the importance of Memorial Day and would rarely use it as a school day, but it is necessary to prevent students from attending school during the second week of June.  School employees will work during the second week of June to complete contract requirements.  The High School graduation date will be confirmed by the high school after the waiver request is approved by the State.
