  • Parenting Sessions

Our first Born Learning parenting session took place at Mapleton on Sept. 28 from 5:30-7:00. In the picture the parents/guardians are making music with common household items such as left over plastic Easter eggs, paper plates, water bottles, and coffee cans.  Music helps children explore rhythm, and eventually create patterns, which is helpful for building math skills.  Our next Born Learning session will be held at Mapleton on Oct. 26 from 5:30-7:00.  Child care is provided for participating parents/guardians. If anyone is interested in attending please contact Danielle Pleasant at 497-8751.
