  • McNabb Middle School Valentine's Day Dance

    The McNabb Cheerleaders will be sponsoring a Valentine's Day Dance on Friday, February 12 from 4:00pm-6:30pm in the McNabb Cafeteria. The cost is $3. 

  • Schools closed Wednesday, February 10, 2016. This will be a TRIBE Day. Child care available.

    There will be no school in Montgomery County Wednesday, February 10. This will be a Non-Traditional Instruction TRIBE Day. Click here for TRIBE Day 2 activities  

    Full day child care will be available at Mapleton Elementary and the Early Learning Center from 5:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Please send a sack lunch with your student.

  • Family Feedback Survey About TRIBE Day


     On Monday, January 25, 2016, Montgomery County Schools implemented its first Non-Traditional Instruction Day, called TRIBE Day.  It is our hope that your children were able to complete their TRIBE Day assignments and return them to their teachers.  We are committed to continuous improvement in all that we do and, as a result, would like for you and your children to complete a survey where you can give us feedback on TRIBE Days.  Please click here to complete the survey with your children.  The survey should only take a few minutes but will give us valuable feedback.  Thank you.


  • Notice: Absence Excuses

    Effective Friday, February 12, the McNabb attendance office will not be accepting any absentee excuses from the first semester (August through December). If you have any questions, please call McNabb Middle School  at 859-497-8770.

  • Region 4 Middle School Wrestling

    Students competed in the Region 4 Middle School Wrestling Championships at Johnson County High School this past Saturday. Congratulations to the following:

    Nolan Banfield became the new Region Champion at the 70 lbs weight class and advances to the State tournament.

    Derek Davidson placed 5th at the 98 lbs weight class and is an alternate for the State Tournament.

    Morgan Martin became the new Region Champion at the 113 lbs weight class and advances to the State tournament.
