Hello! My name is Tami Pallay and I am so excited to be working with you this year! I began teaching in 1999 and have taught in elementary schools in Louisiana, Texas, and Kentucky. This will be my tenth year teaching 3rd grade. I am married to a wonderful man and have five amazing children. Our children range in age from twenty-eight to sixteen years old. Our youngest is representing MoCo at Gatton Academy at WKU. We also have two in college, a nurse, and an aquatic manager.
I have two undergraduate degrees from Louisiana Tech University. I received my Masters degree from Centenary College, and my Educational Specialist from Louisiana State University. Yes, I still cheer for the TIGERS ... but I also cheer for the CATS (our daughter, Elizabeth, graduated from UK).
As you may have guessed, I am not originally from Kentucky. My family and I are from Louisiana and still celebrate Mardi Gras and all things Louisiana. This is our seventh year in Mount Sterling and we LOVE it. Kentucky is such a beautiful state with amazing seasons and wonderful people. We are so happy to call Mount Sterling home!
