I was born and raised in Mt. Sterling, KY and graduated from Montgomery County High School in 1997.  I received my Bachelor of Science in Business and Communications from Georgetown College in 2001 and my Masters in Teaching from the University of the Cumberlands in 2015.  I am certified to teach Mathematics, Social Studies and Business classes.  After college, I started working for National City Bank as an Assistant Branch Manager.  In 2003, I married my husband and moved to Prestonsburg, KY where I worked as the Chief Financial Officer for LINKS, Inc., (a non-profit that served five local counties).  In 2009, we moved to Mt. Sterling, my hometown, where I started my career as a High School mathematics teacher and together we live happily with our three young children.
