Welcome to my teacher page!

My name is Elizabeth Roland and I am blessed with teaching chemistry all day long (Chemistry, Honors Chemistry, and AP Chemistry) at Montgomery County High School. I have my BS degree in chemistry from Centre College (Danville, KY), my MA is in secondary science education with an emphasis in chemistry from the University of Kentucky, and my Ed.D. in science education from the University of Kentucky.

Previous teaching experience includes teaching chemistry at Grant County High School, Dry Ridge Kentucky, teaching science education (middle and secondary), serving as university supervising teacher (student teaching and 1st year teachers), and teaching general field experience for all certification areas for secondary at the University of Kentucky, and teaching Chemistry Labs, Elementary and Middle Grades Methods, Physical Science Courses (online and face to face), and serving as university supervisor for chemistry teaching majors at Morehead State University.
