I attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill, NC, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in 2003. I also attended Georgetown College in Georgetown, KY starting in 2005 and graduated in 2007 with a Master of Arts in Education in Learning and Behavior Disorders. I am currently attending the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky towards my Masters of Education in Visual Impairments degree from which I will graduate during the Summer of 2013.
I have spent many years teaching adults and children with special needs, starting my sophomore year in college, 2001. I began teaching in assisted living facilities for children and adults with a range of disabilities. Over the years, I have been a direct care worker, home manager, case manager, branch manager, and finally found my calling of teaching in the public school system.
I am so happy to work with each of you and your children!! Please feel free to contact me with any concerns.
Thanks!
