Hello students and parents! My name is Heather Manning and this will be my 17th year teaching English. I am beginning my 14th year at Montgomery County High School.
I am a former student of Montgomery County High School, and feel blessed to be able to work with the young adults in my community. I graduated from Morehead State University with a Bachelor's degree in English in 1997. I received my Master's degree in Library Science from Eastern Kentucky University in 2006 and am currently working on a second Master's degree in Guidance Counseling.
I am married to Patrick Manning and we have 3 beautiful children: Kellie, Ben, and Abby. Patrick is a local business owner. My daughter Kellie is a senior at Morehead State University and is pursuing an education degree in Middle School Science. My son Ben is a junior at Morehead pursuing an education degree in Elementary. My youngest Abby is a 6th grader.
I am excited about the upcoming year.
Feel free to contact me at any time. I may be reached at 859-497-8765 ext. 1237 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. I check my email on a regular basis and will reply within 24 hours. The best time to reach me by phone is 8:00 am - 9:10 am.
