I was born and raised in West Chester, Ohio. I attended Morehead State University where I earned my bachelors and masters in education. I have taught at Mapleton Elementary for 17 years. This is my fourth year in third grade. Previously I taught first and second grade.
I am married to Josh Gruneisen, who teaches Special Education at Montgomery County High School. We have two beautiful daughters who we love and adore. I spend most of my freetime with my girls playing outdoors or dressing dolls. I also enjoy scrapbooking, shopping and going to the movies. I love to read, but I have only found time to read children's books since my girls were born.
My husband and I attend Living Water Church here in Mt. Sterling. We are very active in our church and try to put God first in our lives.
