Hello Web Vistor and Welcome to my homepage!

We have got off to a great start here in second grade. I have been getting to know your child and learning what helps them learn best.I look forward to being a partner with you in helping your child make fantastic progress this year. Please don't hesitate to call me if you have any suggestions on how I can help your you or your child or if I can help you in anyway.

Here is just a few things I thought would help you get to know me better:

College Attended: I attended Morehead State University where I received my teaching degree K-8. I returned to get two different Masters which gave me a Rank I.

Years I’ve been Teaching: This will by my 24th year of teaching. My first 18 years was in Elliott County as a regular classroom teacher. I am starting my 8th year as a special education teacher here at Camargo.

Family: My husband Timothy Conner and I live in Morehead, KY and we have two wonderful children, Jaime Miko and Timothy James (TJ). Jaime is married to Chris Miko and they gave us two beautiful granddaughters: Kendall, a 6 year old first grader at McBrayer Elementary in Morehead and three year old Haylee. Our son TJ is 9 years old and also attends McBrayer Elementary – he is in fourth grade.

Pets: We have Stewie a French Bull Dog, with a mind of his own and a great personality.



Color: Purple

Food: Chocolate

Animal: Dogs and Cats I can't make up my mind on the type I like best.

Book: I love any action packed books and also like Mrs. Howard the Harry Potter Books

Hobby: Reading, taking pictures of my young son and granddaughters, hiking with my family.

If you ever have any questions about your child please call me or email me.  My planning is 8:30 to 9:30 each day. 


November and your  child has really been working hard.  However, the work demand is going to be getting hard now.  Please if you feel your child is starting to struggle more let me know I can provide you with suggested they may some strategies.  Check out the web pages I have help.
