A Little About Me and My Family!
My name is Angie Michele Blanton, and I have been teaching for 16 years. I obtained my first teaching position at Camargo Elementary where I taught for 12 years and have been fortunate to remain in Montgomery County for the past 4 years at Montgomery County Intermediate School. Over the course of 16 years, I have served as a Learning Behavior Disorders resource teacher and co-teacher.
At MCIS, I have a highly structured classroom primarily for students with autism. I am a firm believer that all students can learn at high levels when motivated and engaged. I have high and attainable expectations for all students I work with.
I currently reside in Bath County with my husband, James, and our dauther, Kassidy. We all stay very busy between, school, work and church. James owns his own Bobcat business, Blanton Enterprises. Kassidy is a junior at Montgomery County High School this year where she is involved in drama and choir. We attend Reid Village Baptist Church where James and Kassidy are actively involved in the music ministry and I am involved in the children's ministry.
God continues to bless our family abundantly and we continue to give Him all of the glory and praise.
