Classroom Behavior Plan

For our classroom behavior plan, we have made the stick above. Everyday each child will start with their name on green and their name will be moved for either good or bad behavior. If the child has good behavior their name will be moved up to purple and with continued good behavior on up to the star! Examples of reason your child will be moved up are using manners, helping other, etc. At the end of the day the children with their name on purple or the star will get a sticker. When a child gets moved down to yellow this will be their warning. If they are moved to red they will have to sit for 3-5 minutes of our gross motor time depending on the age of the child. Examples of reasons your child would be moved down on the stick are not following classroom rules, not keeping hands to self, etc. Each day in your child's daily folder there will be a paper stating what color they end on that day and the reason. Please initial each day so it is easier for us to keep updated on each child's behavior. At the end of each week, every child that went home on a good color (green, purple, star) everyday will get in the treasure chest. For each child that received a good color 3 out of 4 day, will receive a sticker at the end of the week.
