On this page, students can find online games that they can use to practice 2nd grade reading skills. These games help students practice skills from the five components of reading (phonological awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension).
Try to find the beginning or ending blends of pictures before the asteroids hit! Students should know beginning and ending blends by the end of 2nd grade. Knowing these blends will help them in their reading.
This game will help students make predictions. Making predictions is an important skill that students need to know how to do. In this game, you will read a passage and make a reasonable prediction. Every correct answer will help the dog uncover another part of the mystery object. See if you can figure out the mystery object before all the pieces are put together!
