Fry’s First 100 Words
You can refer to the link below to access Fry's first 100 words. Kindergartners are expected to learn at least 100 sight words this year. We introduce 3-5 new sight words weekly. Each child will also have their own individual list they are working on at their own pace. It is very important that you help practice with your child at home. When he or she masters that list, they will move on to the next list. There are fun incentives for mastering each list. I usually try to do sight word assessments at least each Monday and more often when time permits.

Fry’s Second 100 Words
Many students want to keep going when they master the first 100 words. For those students, I start them on the Fry's second 100 words. Students are very excited to be able to move their name throughout the airplanes hanging in our classroom as they are "flying high"! Please refer to the link below for a list of the second 100 words.
