Students need:  a piece of paper folded into fourths.




*Write four things that happened in the story.

*Name four things the character liked to do.

*Write a summary for each chapter.


Extension activities:

*Name something that didn’t happen in the story but could have happened.


Sight Word ideas:



Say it, Spell it, Say it


Teacher displays sight word (said) then hides it.

Students learn how to write the whole word and not one letter at a time.
