Schools that serve students with visual and hearing impairments face unique challenges when choosing technology systems

for students. However, as educational technology becomes increasingly accessible, schools have more options. "Our goal

is to educate children. You hope and you have a desire that the accessibility does not have to be the focus, but

that the education of the child is the focus," said Trad Robinson, CIO of the South Carolina School for the Deaf and

the Blind in Spartanburg, S.C.
