During our Language Arts block students will meet with me in small groups based on individual running record rankings.
The remainder of the class will be engaged in literacy centers including word works, buddy or individual reading (student choice) and writing. Four students will be working on the reading program Raz-Kids on the classroom computers.
We will also review the spelling pattern and study list and work with those words in the word works center, add words to the word wall and continue using the word wall to assist our spelling, and increase our command of the English language through grammar and phonics lessons.
