LET II- Wellness, fitness and first aid (580241/1 credit): is a course offered primarily to sophomores or second year cadets.  This course will place cadets in a more active leadership role.  Using what they have learned from their LET I course they will spend less time passively listening to lectures or power point presentations and more time actively engaged in advanced learning.  Cadets will learn to promote wellness through nutrition, physical fitness, and substance abuse prevention.  They will learn to develop leadership skills and apply physical and political geography to building global awareness.  The course material is divided into three (3) sections: 1. Wellness, Fitness, and First Aid, 2. Geography, Map Skills, and Environmental Awareness, and 3. Citizenship in American History and Government.
