LET -III Citizenship/civics (580242/1 credit): is an advanced course offered primarily to juniors, seniors, and/or advanced cadets. This course places the individual in a leadership role in the cadet corps. Cadet staff and leadership positions will be selected from this group. It requires cadets to demonstrate a mastery of their skills. Cadets will be expected to use verbal, non-verbal, visual, and written techniques. Cadets will learn to maximize their potential for success through learning and self-management. Leadership skills will be refined. The course material is divided into four (4) sections: 1. Citizenship in action, 2. Leadership Theory and Application, Foundations for success and 3. Citizenship in American History and Government.
