LET IV – Leadership theory and application (580243/1 credit): is the advanced stage of the cadet course where students will serve in leadership positions and conduct the daily business of the cadet corps. The will have a mastery of the cadet corps curriculum to include, drill and ceremony and staff organization and structure. Cadets will be expected to use verbal, non-verbal, visual, and written techniques. They will exercise their leadership skills in helping younger cadets to learn. Cadets in this course will provide observed instruction to selected middle school students on a weekly basis. This course is divided into three (3) sections: 1. Citizenship in Action, 2. Leadership Theory and Application, and 3. Foundations for success.
