The faculty and staff of Montgomery County ATC are excited about
the opportunity to serve the needs of all students pursuing technical
education and skills training. As a student at the area technology
center, one can obtain technical skills training that leads to a
successful post high school transition. Training is provided in
six technical programs. These programs include accounting and finance,
automotive technology, carpentry, health science, office technology,
and welding.
During the 2006-2007 academic year our school was accredited by
the Southern Association of Schools and Colleges. This is historic
for our system as well as SACS since we are the first state CTE
school system to receive SACS accreditation.
Each program at the ATC provides students with an opportunity to
participate in a student organization. Recognized as an integral
part of the technical education curriculum, career and technical
student organizations provide a unique program of career and leadership
development, motivation and recognition exclusively for secondary
and post secondary students enrolled in technical education. Montgomery
County ATC is fortunate to have three active student organizations
including Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Health Occupations
Students of America (HOSA), and SkillsUSA.
Please feel free to visit the ATC at your convenience.
Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday –
Friday.
