No School Wednesday, March 21, 2018

There will be no school in Montgomery County Wednesday, March 21, 2018. This WILL NOT be a Tribe Day.

Registering for Preschool

Preschool registration has been scheduled for April 13, 2018, at the Early Learning Center and April 27, 2018, at Camargo Elementary. Learn more about if your child qualifies for the preschool program and requirements to enroll.

All-District Orchestra

From a large field of auditioning candidates the following students have advanced to the KMEA District 8 All-District orchestra: 

Meyrick Barnett, Caleb Bramel, Jacob Boggs, Kade Bowlin, Avery Conn, Jacquelyn Crump, Emily Donaldson, Elliott King, Noah Mascle, James May, Joe Newell, Catesby Pinney, Daniel Risner, Micah Rouse, Jill Rush, Hayden Shepherd, Alex Tufono, Rebecca Wallingford, and Raymond You.

These students will travel to Boyd County High School on March 24th to participate in rehearsals and a performance with other students from orchestras throughout the district.

Special honors to Elliott King on bass, Daniel Risner on cello, and Raymond You on violin as they each placed first on their respective instruments.  Congratulations to our Montgomery County All-District Orchestra students!

McNabb & MCHS Chess Teams Advance to State

McNabb and MCHS chess teams recently competed in the Quad D Regional Tournaments. Both teams finished third respectively. The MCHS team qualified for the KCA State Chess Team Competition that will be held on March 24th. Senior William Botts won a onetime $1,000 endowment to Morehead State University for being the top-rated senior at the Quad D regional tournament. Congratulations and good luck at state competition!
