Board Of Education

The five members of the Montgomery County Board of Education are elected by the citizens of Montgomery County.  Each member represents three or more of the seventeen voting precincts in the County. Superintendent Joshua Powell serves as the Board Secretary.

Regular meeting dates, times and locations for 2013 were set at the January 10th Organizational meeting, as follows:

January 15^th – MCHS Cafeteria, 6:30 p.m.

February 26^th – Camargo Cafeteria, 6:30 p.m.

March 26^th – Mapleton Gymnasium, 6:30 p.m.

April 23^rd – MSE Gymnasium, 6:30 p.m.

May 28^th – McNabb Auditorium, 6:30 p.m.

June 25^th – Montgomery County Intermediate School Gymnasium, 6:30 p.m.

July 23^rd – MCHS Cafeteria, 6:30 p.m.

August 27^th – Camargo Cafeteria, 6:30 p.m.

September 24^th – Mapleton Gymnasium, 6:30 p.m.

October 22^nd – MSE Gymnasium, 6:30 p.m.

November 19^th – McNabb Auditorium, 6:30 p.m.

December 17^th – Montgomery County Intermediate School Gymnasium, 6:30 p.m.

Special Sessions may be called by the Board at various times and will be advertised accordingly. Meetings are open to the public. Agendas are provided at the meeting.  Special session agendas are advertised prior to the meeting.
