PUBLIC RELATIONS:    
  Public Relations Director & Child CareDirector   Kristi Carter

Kristi Carter is a graduate of Bath County High School. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Morehead State University. She is an Early Care and Education Credentialed Trainer for the Cabinet for Health and Family Services. 
 

Kristi is married to David Carter and they have two children, Emilie and Zane Carter. Kristi enjoys shopping and vacationing with her family.

Information Specialist Donna McGuire
Donna graduated from Montgomery County High School and attended Morehead State University.  She received an Associate Degree in Computer Programming/Data Processing and a Bachelor's Degree in University Studies, with a Business Administration emphasis.

She worked in computer services for a management company for four years before joining the Montgomery County School System.  Donna has worked in the school district for 25+ years, where she has had many opportunities to serve students and expand and improve communication between the school system and its various stakeholders.

Donna and her husband Charles have one daughter, Rachel, who is currently a student at the University of Kentucky.

"It is my intention that strong, frequent, and clear communication between the school system and its students, parents, employees, and community members, will play a significant role in enabling our students and school district to reach the highest levels of success."
 

COMMUNITY EDUCATION:
      Community Education Coordinator Jeff Perkins
 Jeff was born and raised in Huntington, WV, spent twenty years in Orlando, FL, and has now resided in Mt. Sterling for nine years.  He has a Master's Degree in Leadership from Moody Graduate School in Chicago, IL.

Jeff has been married to Kathy, a physical therapist for St. Joe hospital in Mt. Sterling, for twenty-nine years.  They have two children, Amanda, a graduate of Chase Law School, and Evan, who is currently working on his Master's Degree in Accounting at the University of Kentucky.

"One of the great passions of my life is to encourage students to maximize their potential and reach their God-given destiny.  I am thrilled to work in the Montgomery County School System where I have the opportunity to play a part in making this happen."
