On April 27th, families of 7th and 8th grade students gathered at McNabb Middle School for the first ever KPREP Breakout Night! There were approximately 50 students who came out to review content material for KPREP in this fun and exciting way! Students were expected to solve clues and riddles, and a few math problems, to break out of their room. There were three rooms per grade level to break out of, with a time limit of 20 minutes per room.
One group of lucky students won the chance to pie Ms. Stafford for having the fastest breakout time of the night. They broke out in 5 minutes, 50 seconds! Attending students entered for the chance to win various prizes such as Bluetooth speakers, video games, and Bluetooth headphones. In addition, students were entered to win the chance to pie their teachers. Thanks to all of the teachers who made this night possible, and to the families who attended!
Eighth grade students work together to break out of the math room! They had to solve equations to find out who “murdered” Taylor Swift!
