"Excellence for All"

Don Schneider, Principal

Mission Statement

The mission of Camargo Elementary School is to diligently search for and discover the talents and intellectual abilities of each student,  all the while instilling within our students creativity, critical thinking, social skills, and respect for themselves and others.  It is our goal for students, staff, parents, and the community to work together to share our vision of the model of a nurturing and challenging learning environment.

We, the staff, students, parents, district personnel, and community of Camargo Elementary School will work cooperatively to insure that all students gain a foundation to become life-long learners.

Camargo Elementary is fully accredited by the Kentucky Department of Education and by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Box Tops for Education

Camargo Elementary is participating in Box Tops for Education.  Box Tops for Education is a great fundraising program because parents, students, faculty and members of the community can earn cash for our school year-round through easy everyday activities--like buying groceries, shopping online and making purchases with a credit card.  Better yet, there is no door-to-door selling and with Box Tops our school supporters are not asked to buy things they do not want or need like candy, gift wrap, raffle tickets or magazine subscriptions.  Our goal is $200.
