Montgomery County High School


The Montgomery County High School STLP program assists the District Technology Technicians and Support Staff keep our schools network and computers running.

The STLP program is for students who have a desire to learn more about computers or have an extensive knowledge of computers and their workings.  Members of STLP are required to use troubleshooting skills to fix the everyday problems that a computer network might have. 

 Members fix problems such as:

re-mapping network drives

 installing software (Windows, MS Office, Exchange, FrontPage)

installing hardware (printers, scanners)

Student IDs

manage student accounts, folders and student e-mail accounts

troubleshooting hardware and software

teaching students and faculty/staff how to use software and computers and use them optimally

working with the staff of MCHS to solve problems that arise in regard to educational technology.
